About: Typecon Conference
The project introduced is about Typecon ran by Sota (Society of Typographic Aficionados) and the objective of the project was to create a type conference. The word I chose for this project was ‘RESOUND’ (Washington, 2024). I had an idea to connect resound to pop-art since pop-art was a great way to communicate loud and eye catching graphics to pull viewers to the conference.

The mind map process allows me to generate keywords to base on regarding the style and design. Same goes for my sketch process. these are experimental sketches playing around with the words.
Digital Process Illustrator
For my design process I started working with multiple modern typefaces like Acumin Pro and Oswald. I chose Oswald as my lead type for ‘RESOUND’ and started to play by distorting the letters.
